Betsy
Raised in the Midwestern suburbs with 2 Mutts, a Black Lab, an English Springer Spaniel, a Rottweiler, and the sweetest English Mastiff to ever walk the earth, Betsy learned early on that a house may be a home without a dog, it’s just less fun to come home to! She attended college on the east coast and studied abroad in Scotland, spending summers interning in the entertainment industry in N.Y.C. and L.A. After graduating with honors, Betsy moved to Los Angeles and began working in the fields of casting, screenwriting, and production.
It's Betsy's professionalism, true love of dogs, and devotion to their care that has propelled the need for additional sitters as the business has grown. She’s a fan of live music, mystery novels, and Kansas City barbeque.
Dave
Dave made his way to L.A. via Texas, New York, and Japan. He has loved animals all his life and grew up in a virtual zoo as his family pets included snakes, guinea pigs, turtles, chinchillas, ferrets, hamsters, gerbils, and cats. His family also averaged 5 dogs at a time, so he feels comfortable with all breeds, sizes, and temperaments.
Dave volunteered at the West LA Rescue center for several years to give comfort to dogs locked up in cages waiting to be adopted. His calm and breezy aura is perfectly suited to caring for animals. Trained as a director and editor, Dave is fluent in Japanese and is a devoted fan of sushi and rock music.
Sarah
Born and raised in Nashville, Sarah grew up with many beloved dogs and cats and spent the majority of weekends on her aunt's horse farm with a collection of animals.
Although she is very active, Sarah has a gentle, calming presence which makes her a great fit for puppies as well as older animals that just need a buddy to cuddle up to. Sarah once worked as a photojournalist for mission teams in third world countries and even backpacked the mountains of Nepal, but since moving to L.A. with her husband, she has been working as a screenwriter and memoir ghostwriter helping people bring their deeply personal stories to life. She loves to be in nature, with animals, traveling, or drinking strong dark roast coffee with a good book in hand.
Quentin
Quentin grew up in northern Pennsylvania and Texas, where two of his greatest passions were spending time in nature and taking care of animals. True to his compassionate nature, Quentin is a licensed marriage and family therapist and licensed professional clinical counselor and loves helping people live their best lives.
He volunteered at the Wolf Connection wolf sanctuary for seven years and feels extremely fortunate to have had such an enjoyable and educational experience. In his free time, he enjoys hiking, reading, and writing short stories. Quentin and his wife also do short-term cat boarding at their Sherman Oaks home.
Jill
Jill was born and raised in Maui, Hawaii, but followed her family’s tradition of attending college in the Midwest. She is a Grammy winning recording engineer who loves hockey, fantasy novels, and gaming.
Jill has a spiritual connection to cats, but she’s also comfortable with dogs of all sizes, and her quiet, easy-going nature is the perfect balance for pups with restless energy levels.
Glenda
Glenda has loved animals her entire life. She grew up in the Pacific Northwest but moved to SoCal for college and never left. She has worked in entertainment as well as a variety of different industries in LA since then. She loves being outdoors and petting every dog she passes!
She is well experienced in handling all sizes of dogs with a variety of temperaments. She lives in Burbank with her daughter (soon to graduate HS) and four cats. Fun fact: Glenda is also a certified notary public if you should need anything notarized!
Melinda
A Midwesterner deep down to her soul, Melinda is likely the most loving, caring, sensitive, and conscientious person you will ever meet! A movie, tv, and musical theatre fan, Melinda has served (now WFH) as a beloved and loyal editor at the same entertainment magazine for over a decade.
She truly exudes joy and warmth towards animals and humans alike. A devoted cat mom, she is active in her church and fosters for the California Siamese rescue.
Kristina
An animal lover since birth, Kristina is a New Yorker who made her way to L.A. after college in Chicago. She grew up with multiple cats and guinea pigs and shares her love with dogs whenever she can. She has an 18-year-old Maine Coon cat and recently rescued two kittens from the Mojave Desert.
A former Hollywood creative executive, she has pivoted her passion and drive to caring for other’s animals. Kristina spends much of her free time with friends’ farm animals, including horses, chickens, turkeys, hogs, and of course, dogs. Her loving nature, upbeat attitude, and extreme love of animals make her a great fit for looking after your fur babies. While Kristina loves giant puppies, she is more comfortable with adult large breeds or smaller dogs.
Andrew
Andrew is super tall - so tall, in fact, that he had an early career playing movie monsters. He even appeared as the Chewbacca-esque character in the Oscar-winning movie "Argo." These days he works diligently as an editor, content creator, and dog dad to the most energetic pup Betsy has ever encountered. As much as he loves that furry ball of non-stop energy, he also loves hanging out with your Much Calmer pets.
Another fly-over state transplant, Andrew is an avid outdoorsman and especially loves all things aquatic including bodyboarding, kayaking, and whale watching. He has volunteered much of his free time to saving marine life, specifically with the Marine Mammal Care Center in San Pedro.
